Mindful Baking Cake Orders

Dear Customers: As of February 20, 2025, we have transitioned to an online ordering system. This change allows us to manage orders more efficiently, communicate with you more easily, and maintain the highest quality standards for our flavors by ensuring each one is crafted to its intended design. Thank you for your understanding and support—we look forward to creating a delicious cake for you!

We require at least 3 days' notice for all cake orders. We require 7 days' notice for cakes with elaborate decorations and for all sugar-free cakes. There will be a $25 charge for rush or last-minute orders.

 

Listed prices are for our standard offerings with no variations. For any custom decoration requests, an extra deposit must be made when placing your online order ($20 - $50 depending on the cake size). Depending on your requests, additional fees may apply (see below). Once your payment has been made online, your order is booked and will be ready to pick up on the date you have requested. 

 

For custom decoration requests, please provide as much detail as possible regarding the colors and decorations you are interested in. Please note, that while we will always try our best to accommodate, elaborate decoration requests are tentative pending review by our team, and extra fees may apply. We'll be in touch to complete your order and will offer alternative suggestions as needed.   Please email diane@mindfulbaking.net if you have pictures you'd like us to reference or include.

 

Our cakes are always both vegan and gluten-free.  Include any requests to accommodate other food allergies or restrictions (nuts, coconut, etc.)

Pick-ups can be scheduled at Mindful Baking Wholesale Kitchen (4201 N Ravenswood Ave) between 12 pm and 6 pm, Wednesday - Friday.  Please email diane@mindfulbaking.net if you'd like to arrange a special pick-up time outside of these hours. 

A gentle reminder: Once a cake has been picked up by you or a designated party, it is considered "Accepted". All products are the responsibility of the customer once they leave our shop. PLEASE READ THE FULL FINE PRINT BELOW before placing your order. 

At this time, we are only able to offer deliveries for orders of $300 or more. If you are placing a $300+ order, please email diane@mindfulbaking.net for more details on arranging delivery. We appreciate your understanding and hope to expand our delivery options in the future.

REFUNDS: We promise to do our best to provide the best-tasting & best-looking gluten-free/vegan cakes around. Please keep in mind that no two pieces of art made by people are ever exactly alike. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide full refunds or exchanges of custom cakes in most cases.

• Once a cake has been picked up by you or a designated party, it is considered "Accepted". All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our shop.

• Refunds requested due to decorating style, color shade, or general decoration design, or minor design discrepancies will not be honored. 

• In some cases, you may qualify for a partial refund or store credit if the product is brought back to us and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined not to meet our standards. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of Mindful Baking.

• NOTE: We will NOT negotiate a partial refund if you keep the cake. This is a “take it or leave it” policy.

In the rare case you should be unhappy with your order, we kindly ask you to reach out to us directly via phone or email to discuss, so we have a chance to remedy the issue.
